Folding clothes only seems simple to those that have it mastered with years of experience and thousands of garments under their belt.
Sometimes you have to undo hours of good washing and ironing, all because you’ve folded your clothes the wrong way. Few things are more annoying.
There just never seems to be a good time to ask for help in finding the perfect way to fold T-shirts.
The good news is, you don’t have to have worked in a clothing store to be a master folder (although wouldn’t the employee discount be nice?) A black belt in folding is easily within reach. With just a few simple steps, you can look sharp and neat in no time at all.
This short video covers the basics so you no longer have to fold under pressure. And remember, if your clothing stretches easily, it should be folded!
Place T-shirt down on a flat surface.
Fold in the right sleeve.
Be sure to give a crisp crease as you fold.
Then the left sleeve.
Never leave a sleeve behind.
Fold the bottom to the top.
This should make a compact square shape, which means taking up less space in the drawers. Bonus!
Turn the t-shirt over.
Place in the drawer, and then repeat!
You’ve just become the master of the t-shirt fold. Congratulations!. To see these tips in action, make sure you watch Tide’s newest video.
