We all know ironing can be really tricky to master, especially the dreaded shirt. Unfortunately, other than buying clothes that don’t crease, it’s a part and parcel of laundry life. Some people even argue that it can be therapeutic. No, really.
Thanks to Tide, you’ll never have leave the house looking creased up again with these simple tips. Soon enough, any clothing item you lay your hands on will end up looking good as new.
Spray water on clothing for tough creases.
A little spritz will make wrinkles easily disappear as you apply the hot iron.
Start by ironing the collar.
It’ll stay in place while you carry on with the rest.
Then move on to the front of the shirt.
Spray more water on it if you think it needs it.
Now iron the cuffs.
Watch out for the buttons!
Now iron the back of the shirt.
The trick is not to crease the parts you have already ironed while you do this.
Finally, iron the sleeves.
Probably the trickiest place of them all, save the sleeves for last to ensure a crease free finish.
And that’s it! Once you’ve done your third or fourth shirt, you’ll soon be able to take on that towering pile of ironing with triumph.
